Employer Contribution Rate 2025
- 25 or more employees: 0.8% (0.32% for paternal leave, 0.4% for medical leave)
- 10-24 employees: 0.32% (parental leave only) Employer is responsible for full amount; but can deduct 0.4% or 0.16% from employees depending on size of employer
Employee Contribution Rate 2025 – Employees may contribute up to 50% of the contribution (0.4%for employees of employers with 25 or more employees, 0.16% for employees of employers with 10-24 employees)
Wage Base – $176,100 (federal social security wage base for 2025)

District of Columbia – PFL

Maine – PFL

Employer Contribution Rate 2025
- 14 or Less Employees: 0.5% (may deduct 0.5% from employees)
- 15 or More Employees: 1% (may deduct 0.5% from employees, making contribution rate 0.5% for each)
